Join Joe Patanella and Green Brook Racing and be part of
their 4th Annual BUCKMAN Sprint Distance Triathlon!
Round Valley Recreation Area, before only an off road venue,
becomes the site of one of the most beautiful and challenging
courses for the on road triathlete.

Please Note: Race start and Transition area are located at
"The Beach" area    


THE SWIM: NEW SWIM DISTANCE:1/4 mile straight line course.  The swim will be in the beach
area  (not the reservoir).  This is the same area as where the XTERRA race is held.


THE BIKE: A beautiful on road course will challenge the cyclist along rolling, country roads.  
This course has a net elevation gain of 1,374.7 and a loss of 1,333.0 with a total distance of
17 miles.(Helmets required)


THE RUN: Takes place inside Round Valley Area, a protected spawning ground for the
American Bald Eagle.  The run course is a 5K(two 1.5 mile loops).

PACKAGE PICK UP:
Race packets can be picked up Sunday 6:00-7:00 , race day, at
the starting line in Round Valley Park.

Bring a Flashlight! It will be DARK!!

7:40 am: Mandatory pre race meeting
8:00 am: Race begins/1st Wave
8:05 am: 2nd Wave
8:10 am: 3rd Wave
8:15 am: 4th Wave
8:20 am: 5th Wave
8:25 am: 6th Wave
10:45 am: Post race party starts
10:30 am: Bike Course closes
11:15am: Course closes
11:45 am: Awards!

$75 + $10 one day USAT fee (for non USAT members)

correct directions if
"Park" is entered under
destination in the place of
interest box.  Type in
Lebanon, NJ.  Once the
place of interest box pops
up click on "r" and you will
be able to click onto
Round Valley Recreation
Area.

From the East: Rt 78 W to
exit 20A to Rt 22 W.  Follow
sign to Round Valley
From the West: Rt 78 E to
exit 18 to Rt 22E. Follow
sign to Round Valley
From the South: 31N to Rt
618.  Take 618 to the end
and make a  left onto 629.  
Take 629 to Round
Valley-entrance on your
right.

There is no rain date for this or any other Green Brook Racing event.  The event goes on rain
or shine.  Racer accepts this risk when registering for the race and NO REFUNDS will be
given. Race director reserves the right to alter or cancel any part or whole of the race due to
inclement weather or dangerous conditions.  There will be no refunds in this event!!  All fees
have gone forward to produce and supply staff and service for the event.
No refunds, transfers to other individuals or substitutions into any other race allowed under
any circumstance.  Registration is final and non refundable.
